TERMS OF SALE
Buying from the shop, in plain language.
These Terms of Sale govern orders from Little Carriers LLC, a Wyoming LLC. The operational and customer-service shop is 210 South St, Fall River, WI 53932, US. Every section opens with a short plain-English summary, followed by the full legal text.
EFFECTIVE AUGUST 20, 2026 · LAST UPDATED AUGUST 20, 2026
Acceptance of terms
SECTION 01These are the ground rules for buying from us. Browse the site or place an order and you're agreeing to them. You need to be 18 or older — otherwise, have a parent or guardian place the order.
These Terms of Sale ("Terms") govern your use of the smallpetcarriers.com website (the "Site") and every purchase of carriers from Little Carriers LLC ("Little Carriers," "we," "us"). By accessing the Site, submitting a quote request, or placing an order, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site or purchase carriers.
You must be at least 18 years old to place an order. If you are under 18, a parent or legal guardian must place the order on your behalf. If you order on behalf of an organization — such as a shelter, veterinary clinic, retailer, or breeder — you represent that you are authorized to bind that organization to these Terms.
The current version of these Terms is always posted on this page. The version in effect at the time we confirm your order governs that order.
What we sell
SECTION 02We make four sizes of pet carrier plus a handful of matching accessories, built for small household pets. Prices on the site are list prices — the number in your confirmed quote is the one that counts. Ordering for a whole organization? Volume pricing starts at 10, 25, and 50 units.
Little Carriers designs and sells size-specific carriers for small household pets, in four shell sizes — No. 01 Thimble, No. 02 Clover, No. 03 Burrow, and No. 04 Harbor — together with compatible accessories. Carriers are built after a quote is accepted and are subject to availability; we may update or discontinue shells at any time.
List prices
| Shell | Price (USD) |
|---|---|
| No. 01 Thimble shell | $23 USD per unit |
| No. 02 Clover shell | $70 USD per unit |
| No. 03 Burrow shell | $80 USD per unit |
| No. 04 Harbor shell | $114 USD per unit |
| Accessories (six options) | $12–$24 USD per unit |
Prices shown on the Site are list prices and estimates only; final pricing for any order is confirmed by email before the order is accepted (see Section 3). Tiered volume pricing is available for orders of 10 or more, 25 or more, and 50 or more units — tell us your quantities in the quote request and we will price accordingly.
Interior dimensions and specifications are listed on each shell page and in the Fit Guide. Because carriers are size-specific, measure your animal before choosing a shell.
Quotes & orders
SECTION 03Sending a quote request doesn't lock anyone in — it starts a conversation. An order becomes real only when we confirm it by email. Occasionally we may decline a request, and we'll tell you why.
The Site does not process orders or payments directly. A quote request submitted through the quote form, by email, or by phone is a request for an estimate only. It is not a binding order and does not obligate you or us.
An order is formed only when we confirm acceptance in writing by email — setting out final pricing, quantities, any custom work, and an estimated lead time (the "Order Confirmation"). The Order Confirmation, together with these Terms, governs the sale.
We reserve the right to decline or cancel any quote request or order at our discretion — for example, if a shell is unavailable, details cannot be verified, or a request is incomplete — and we will notify you by email. If we cancel a confirmed order before dispatch, any amount you have paid for the cancelled items will be refunded.
Pricing & payment
SECTION 04Everything is priced in U.S. dollars. List prices can change until your order is confirmed — after that, your price is set. This website does not take card numbers today. Card checkout, when it opens, will run on a Stripe-hosted page after a written quote; until then, payment details are arranged by email.
All prices are quoted in U.S. dollars. Prices shown on the Site may change at any time before an order is confirmed; the price stated in your Order Confirmation is the price you pay for that order.
The Site itself accepts no card or online payments. Payment method, amounts, and timing — including any deposit for custom or volume orders — are arranged directly with you at order confirmation and stated in the Order Confirmation.
Prices do not include applicable sales, use, or other taxes. Any taxes we are required to collect will be itemized in your Order Confirmation, and you are responsible for all taxes applicable to your purchase. Shipping charges, where applicable, are also stated in the Order Confirmation.
Custom work
SECTION 05Want an embroidered patch, custom felt, a foam insert, or your logo debossed? We can do that for a small extra charge. Custom touches are made to order, so they can add time to your lead time — and once made, they're final sale unless defective.
We offer the following optional custom work on carriers and accessories:
| Custom option | Added charge (USD) |
|---|---|
| Embroidered patch | +$6 USD per unit |
| Custom felt | +$4 USD per unit |
| Foam insert | +$8 USD per unit |
| Logo deboss | +$120 USD flat per order |
Custom work is produced to your specifications after order confirmation and may extend the estimated lead time; any revised lead time will be stated in the Order Confirmation. You are responsible for the accuracy of the artwork, text, logos, and specifications you provide, and you represent that you have the right to use any logo or artwork you submit.
Custom and personalized items are final sale and may not be returned, except in the case of a defect (see Section 7).
Shipping
SECTION 06Orders ship from our shop in Fall River, Wisconsin. Once a parcel is delivered to your address, it's in your hands. Carriers do sometimes run late — that's outside our control, but we'll help trace a stray shipment.
Carriers ship from Fall River, Wisconsin, USA. Shipping destinations, methods, charges, and estimated lead times are confirmed in your Order Confirmation. Arrival dates are estimates, not guarantees.
Title and risk of loss pass to you upon arrival of the goods at the address specified in the Order Confirmation. Please inspect the shipment promptly and report any shipping damage to us by email as soon as reasonably possible, so we can help resolve it with the carrier.
We are not liable for delays caused by carriers, weather, or other circumstances beyond our reasonable control, but we will assist you in tracing delayed shipments wherever we can.
14-day home trial & returns
SECTION 07Try the carrier at home for 14 days from the day it's delivered — let your animal sit in it, that's the point. If the fit isn't right, send it back clean for a refund of the shell price. Custom and embroidered pieces are final sale unless they're defective.
Standard (non-custom) shells may be tried at home for 14 calendar days from the date of arrival. To return a shell within the trial period, email quotes@smallpetcarriers.com with your purchase details and we will arrange the return with you.
Shells must be returned in clean condition with all parts included; normal trial wear is acceptable. Once the return arrives back at the shop and passes inspection, we will refund the shell price you paid for the returned items. Shipping charges are not refundable, and you are responsible for return shipping unless the return is due to our error or a defect.
Custom or personalized items — including embroidered patches and logo debossing — are final sale and may not be returned, except in the case of a defect.
The full trial and returns policy is posted at Legal & policies — Trial & returns.
2-year warranty
SECTION 08Every carrier is covered for two years against defects in materials and workmanship. If something fails, we fix it first and replace it when a fix doesn't make sense. What it doesn't cover: damage the animal does itself — chewing and scratching — and ordinary wear.
We warrant our carriers against defects in materials and workmanship for two (2) years from the date of arrival, for the original purchaser. If a covered defect appears during the warranty period, we will, at our option, fix the shell first or, where a fix is not sensible, replace it with the same or a comparable shell.
This warranty does not cover damage caused by animals (including chewing or scratching), normal wear and tear, misuse, overloading beyond the shell's stated size guidance, modifications, or accidents.
To start a warranty claim, email quotes@smallpetcarriers.com with your purchase details and a description of the issue — a photo helps. The full warranty policy is posted at Legal & policies — Warranty.
This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may have other rights that vary by state. Nothing in this section limits statutory consumer rights that cannot lawfully be limited.
Carrier use & animal safety
SECTION 09Carriers are chosen by your animal's measurements, not guesswork — measure first using the Fit Guide, and supervise your animal during use. Flying? Airlines set their own rules and change them, so check with yours before you travel, especially with the No. 04 Harbor.
Whether a carrier is suitable depends on your animal's measurements, weight, and behavior. Before quoting, measure your animal and consult the Fit Guide; if you would like help choosing a size, email fit@smallpetcarriers.com. You are responsible for determining whether a shell is appropriate for your animal.
Always supervise animals while a carrier is in use, and never leave an animal unattended in a carrier in conditions that could cause it harm, including heat or direct sun in a parked vehicle.
"Cabin-ready" descriptions on the Site reflect common U.S. under-seat dimensions at the time of writing. Airlines set and change their own pet policies and dimension requirements, and we are not liable for changes in airline policy or for a carrier not being accepted for cabin travel. Always confirm current requirements with your airline before you fly — particularly for the No. 04 Harbor, our largest shell.
Intellectual property
SECTION 10The designs, illustrations, photos, and words on this site are ours. You're welcome to browse and share links — please don't copy or reuse our material without asking.
The Site and its contents — including shell designs, illustrations, photographs, text, graphics, logos, and the Little Carriers name and marks — are owned by or licensed to Little Carriers LLC and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.
We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and view the Site for your personal, non-commercial use. You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, modify, create derivative works from, or commercially exploit any part of the Site or our shell designs without our prior written consent.
Privacy
SECTION 11Short version: Termly manages consent. Optional tawk.to chat stays blocked until you accept. There are no accounts and no on-site card checkout. Quote details go to our shop inbox so we can answer you. The full story is in the privacy policy.
Your use of the Site is also governed by our Privacy Policy and Cookie Notice. In brief: Termly records your cookie and tracking preferences; optional tawk.to chat loads only after you accept that category. There are no user accounts and no on-site card checkout. Information you submit through the quote form — such as your name, email, organization, and order details — is stored in our Cloudflare D1 database and emailed through Resend so we can reply. Cloudflare hosts the Site, Google Fonts delivers typefaces, Migadu handles inbound @smallpetcarriers.com mail, and Stripe-hosted Checkout is planned for later card payment. We do not sell or rent personal information to anyone.
Disclaimers & limitation of liability
SECTION 12We work hard to keep the website accurate and available, but we provide it "as is" — if it glitches, that isn't something we're liable for. If a shell we sold you gives rise to a claim, our total liability is capped at what you paid for that shell. Some states don't allow limits like these, so parts of this section may not apply to you.
THE SITE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE," WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SITE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR FREE OF HARMFUL COMPONENTS.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, LITTLE CARRIERS LLC'S TOTAL LIABILITY ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO ANY SHELL OR THESE TERMS IS LIMITED TO THE AMOUNT YOU PAID FOR THE SHELL GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM. IN NO CASE WILL WE BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR LOST PROFITS, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THEIR POSSIBILITY.
WE ARE NOT LIABLE FOR DELAYS OR FAILURES CAUSED BY CIRCUMSTANCES BEYOND OUR REASONABLE CONTROL, INCLUDING NATURAL DISASTERS, EPIDEMICS, GOVERNMENT ACTIONS, AND CARRIER OR UTILITY FAILURES.
SOME JURISDICTIONS DO NOT ALLOW THE EXCLUSION OF CERTAIN WARRANTIES OR THE LIMITATION OF CERTAIN DAMAGES, SO SOME OF THE ABOVE MAY NOT APPLY TO YOU. IN THOSE CASES, OUR LIABILITY IS LIMITED TO THE GREATEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW. NOTHING IN THESE TERMS LIMITS LIABILITY THAT CANNOT LAWFULLY BE LIMITED.
Indemnification
SECTION 13If your misuse of a shell or breach of these terms gets us sued by someone else, you cover our reasonable costs. That's the whole idea.
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Little Carriers LLC from and against third-party claims, damages, and reasonable expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of: (a) your misuse of a shell, or use of a shell other than as directed; (b) your breach of these Terms; (c) your violation of any law or third-party right; or (d) artwork, logos, or other materials you provide for custom work.
We may assume the defense of any matter subject to indemnification, and you agree to cooperate with that defense. You may not settle any claim in a way that imposes obligations on us without our prior written consent.
Governing law & disputes
SECTION 14Wisconsin law governs these terms as a contract choice of law. Little Carriers LLC is formed in Wyoming; Wisconsin is not the formation state. If we have a dispute, let's talk first — email us and we'll spend up to 30 days trying to sort it out informally. If that fails, disputes go to the courts serving Columbia County, Wisconsin. No forced arbitration.
Little Carriers LLC is formed in Wyoming. These Terms, and any dispute arising out of or relating to them, the Site, or any shell, are governed by the laws of the State of Wisconsin as a contract choice of law, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. That choice does not change the formation state.
Before filing any claim, the party raising the dispute will send written notice to the other, and the parties will attempt in good faith to resolve the dispute informally for at least thirty (30) days from that notice. You can reach us for this purpose at quotes@smallpetcarriers.com.
If the dispute is not resolved within that period, it will be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts serving Columbia County, Wisconsin, and both parties consent to the personal jurisdiction of those courts. Either party may instead bring an individual claim in small-claims court where that claim qualifies.
Changes to these terms
SECTION 15When these terms change, we post the new version here and update the date at the top. Big changes get a heads-up on this page at least 14 days before they take effect. Orders already confirmed keep the terms they were confirmed under.
We may update these Terms from time to time. The current version is always posted on this page with its effective date and last-updated date.
For material changes, we will post a prominent notice on this page at least fourteen (14) days before the change takes effect. Your continued use of the Site after a change takes effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
Orders confirmed before a change takes effect remain governed by the version of these Terms in effect at the time of confirmation.
General provisions
SECTION 16The housekeeping bits: this page is the whole agreement between us about buying from the shop; if one clause fails, the rest stand; not enforcing a right once doesn't waive it; and nothing here makes us partners or agents of each other.
These Terms, together with the Order Confirmation and the policies referenced here (privacy, trial and returns, warranty), constitute the entire agreement between you and Little Carriers LLC regarding their subject matter and supersede prior communications about it.
If any provision of these Terms is held invalid or unenforceable, it will be enforced to the maximum extent permissible and the remaining provisions will continue in full force. Our failure to enforce any provision is not a waiver of our right to enforce it later.
Nothing in these Terms creates an agency, partnership, joint venture, or employment relationship between you and us.
Questions about these terms?
SECTION 17In plain English: email or call and a person at the shop answers. For anything formal — including legal notices — write to us at the address below and it reaches the same desk.
